3DS MAX – Micro Reference Manual – Modifiers – Parametric – Skew

With this modifier you can:

– model a geometry
– animate a geometry

In 3DS MAX there are also 1 Skew space warp: Modifier-Based> Skew

CREATE THE MODIFIER

1. Create an object
2. Select the object, RIGHT COLUMN> Modify> Modifier List> OBJECT-SPACE MODIFIERS> Skew

SETUP THE MODIFIER

Parameters
Select the object, RIGHT COLUMN> Modify> Skew, setup the parameters

Gizmo
Select the object, RIGHT COLUMN> Modify> Skew> Gizmo, move the Gizmo in the viewport

Center
Select the object, RIGHT COLUMN> Modify> Skew> Center, move the center in the viewport

ERASE THE MODIFIER

RIGHT COLUMN> Modify> LMB over the modifier (blu highlight)> RMB over the modifier> Delete
